Objective Osteoarthritis of the knee joint is a degenerative pathological change of articular car-tilage,frequently affecting aged people.Platelet enriched plasma(PRP)can improve joint pain and repair dam-aged joint soft tissue through intraarticular injection. In addtion, this paper will discuss whether PRP could achieve the goal of treating osteoarthritis by promoting fibroblast proliferation and periosteal thickening,improv-ing synovial and periosteal repair, promoting the absorption of inflammation, alleviating knee pain, and improv-ing knee function.objective This study is conducted to observe the effects of intraarticular injection of PRP on pain in osteoarthritis and pathological changes in the synovium and periosteum of the knee joint.method First,Collect 40 cases of knee-joint patients being voluntarily treated in our hospital; Then, randomly divide them into two groups:treatment group for injection of PRP,and control group for injection of sodium hyaluronate;Afterward, related treatment was conducted every 7 days for a total of 3 times. The patients were designed to be observed before treatment(week 0),1 week after the first injection(week 1),1 week after the second injection(week 2),1 week after the third injection(week 3),and 12 weeks after the completion of injection(week 15);Last,grade the NRS score of knee pain, including changes in periosteum and synovium, improvement in knee function, changes in the grade of osteoarthritis, and patient satisfaction.Results(1)After treatment, the pain score of both treatment group and control group decreased, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),the NRS score of treatment group was lower than that of control group at the 15th week, the dif-ference was statistically significant(P<0.05);(2)The synovial membrane value in the treatment group at week 15 was lower than that before treatment and control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);(3)In both the treatment group and the control group, the improvement degree of functional knee joint of patients after treatment was lower than that before treatment, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),and the 15-week treatment group was lower than the control group, the difference was statistical-ly significant(P<0.0 5).Conclusion PRP treatment for knee osteoarthritis can effectively alleviate knee pain, promotesynovial repair, and improve knee function.
