Design of High-pressure Fuel Pipe for Marine Diesel Engine Based on Autofrettage Theory
With the increase of fuel system pressure, the high-pressure fuel pipes need to be redesigned or strengthened.Based on autofrettage theory, the stress of high-pressure fuel pipe is analyzed, and the contrast calculation of the pipe before and after autofret-tage is carried out. Then the influence of key parameters of autofrettaged high-pressure fuel pipe is further studied, and the variation law of equivalent stress between outer diameter and autofrettaged pressure is obtained. The results show that plastic deformation has oc-curred on the inner wall of the pipe without autofrettage under working pressure(200MPa);While the autofrettaged fuel pipe is com-pletely in elastic state. The maximum equivalent stress of autofrettaged fuel pipe is not sensitive to the change of outer diameter. And autofrettage pressure is not the higher the better, the maximum equivalent stress will increase if the autofrettage pressure is excessively high.
