Assembly Method of Camshaft and Drive Gear of An Engine
In the aviation industry, every part of the aircraft engine has weight requirements,so during the part development phase, product engineers will consider reducing the weight of the parts as much as possible on the premise of meeting the product performance and functions. Therefore, the middle of the camshaft and its driving gear is in a hollow state. In order to improve the stability of product quality, positioning pins are added to the camshaft diameter during the design, which also increases the difficulty of assembly. In existing technology, due to factors such as uneven heating on the surface of the driving gear during heating and fast heat dissipation speed, excessive pressing force leads to abnormal phenomena such as camshaft diameter cutting and positioning pin deformation. Therefore, traditional gear heating and pressing methods cannot meet product requirements.
