Study on Forming Technology of Flanged Bearing for Main Shaft of 4105 Combustion Engine
The flanged bearing for main shaft of 4105 combustion engine would bear heavy radial and axial loads,so it need good friction reduction and wear resistance.The flanged bearing is made of AlSn20Cu/08A1 bimetallic plates.Its forming process has a significant impact on quality.Firstly,the bimetallic plate is stamped into a U-shape on a press.The materials of the upper and lower stamping molds are Cr12 and 45 respectively.Then,using a three-roller specialized rounding machine the U-shape is processed into a semicircle.The material of upper roller is 9Cr2Mo.The material of lower roller is 40Cr.The material of rear holding roller is Cr12.Finally,the special tooling is used to reshape the bearing on the press machine,to improve the fit of bearing shells.The forming process is widely applied,because it is simple and requires low to equipment.And the flanged bearing has stable size and high fit.
