In the education work of higher vocational colleges,vocational skills competition is not only a key platform for training and selecting high-quality skilled talents,but also an important basis and guidance for the reform and innovation of teaching mechanism through competition and learning.After the development and im-provement in recent years,the vocational skills competition of higher vocational colleges has initially formed a system with the national competition and the provincial competition as the center and the school competition and the city competition as the basic,and the competition has become more prominent in promoting the teaching re-form.This paper studies the effect of intelligent network-connected automobile technology competition on the training and improvement of skill talents in higher vocational colleges,and takes the course of intelligent net-work-connected detection and operation and maintenance in higher vocational colleges as the case study object,and puts forward the ideas and methods of teaching reform to improve the quality of skill talents training for ref-erence only.
