Causes and Analysis of Wet Cylinder Liner Cavitation Caused by Cylinder Liner Vibration Based on AVL EXCITE Power Unit
When the diesel engine is working,under the impact force of the piston side pressure reversing,it will cause the mechanical vibration of the cylinder liner and stimulate the circumferential wave vibration of the cylinder liner,thus making the cooling water vibrate with the cylinder liner at high frequency,cause the periodic change of cooling water pressure,make the cooling water expand and compress alternately,and form bubbles when the water pressure is lower than the saturated vapor pressure under the cooling water temperature.When the pressure rises and reaches a certain value,these bubbles burst and produce strong pressure waves,which im-pact and denounce cylinder liners violently.In this paper,numerical analysis is carried out from two aspects of cooling water pressure and cylinder liner vibration in order to effectively avoid and prevent the occurrence of cavi-tation phenomenon of wet cylinder liner.
