This article briefly describes the development process of fuel consumption method standards,limit standards,and test condition standards for heavy-duty commercial vehicles;Explained the main changes in the Heavy-duty vehicles four stage fuel consumption limit standards compared to the current limit standards;Com-parative analysis on the distribution of characteristics such as speed,acceleration,and acceleration/deceleration ratio under CHTC and C_WTVC of different types of heavy-duty vehicles.Analyzed the fuel consumption results of heavy duty commercial vehicles under CHTC at present,and compared them with the average and weighted re-sults of fuel consumption under C_WTVC and with the Heavy-duty vehicles four stage fuel consumption limits,and then propose fuel saving suggestions.It is instructive for heavy vehicles to adjust the Technology roadmap in the future to meet the requirements of the Heavy-duty vehicles four stage fuel consumption limit.
