Structure Characteristics and Design Method of External Drum Milling Machine
The external drum milling machine is generally developed or modified on the basis of the conven-tional 0.5 m milling machine,while retaining the conventional milling function,the external milling drum is add-ed to achieve the function of milling groove.Compared with the conventional 0.5m milling machine,the main difference is that the external milling groove wheel configuration is added to the working device,and the purpose of one machine is multi-purpose by replacing the working device.From the structural characteristics and design point of view,this paper describes the overall structure of external drum milling machine,design methods and matters needing attention,to provide a certain reference and basis for the design of this kind of structure.
