Effect of Different Structural Parameters on the Properties of H13 Hardened Materials Milling with Milling Cutters
In order to better explore the impact of different structural parameters on the performance of mill-ing cutters for H13 hardened materials, three types of hard alloy milling cutters with the same diameter and arc radius were selected, and different cutting helix angles, circumferential rake angles, and circumferential rake an-gles were set.A vertical machining center was selected to process H13 hardened materials, and the cutting force, chip breaking performance, and wear amount of three different structural parameter cutters were collected and analyzed,The results show that when the rake and rake angles of the tool edge increase, the cutting force of the tool decreases, and the influence of the rake angle of the tool edge on the cutting force is greater; The cutting he-lix angle has the greatest impact on milling temperature, and the cutting temperature is the smallest when the cutting helix angle is 30°;When the rake angle of the milling cutter is large,it can better remove chips, reduce cutting force, and reduce wear.
