The performance of bearing shell plays an important role in the normal operation of engines.Three units of high-power engine in a domestic plant have abnormal wear and scratch accidents of bearing shell during the trial run and durability test.The Examination of physical and chemical inspection and test detection have been done to analysis the reason for the failure of bearing shell,meanwhile,the improvement and preventive measures have been proposed.
