Design and Simulation of CNC Turning Process for Parts
CNC machining technology has the characteristics of high precision,high efficiency,and automation,therefore,it is widely used in the mechanical machining process in the manufacturing field.Axis components are installed inside the box and have the function of supporting rotating parts,transmitting motion and torque.They are one of the important parts in machines and are a typical type of rotating component.The article takes the transmission shaft as an example to introduce the process of CNC turning machining process design,including part drawing analysis,blank and positioning reference selection,fixture tool selection,and machining process.To verify the correctness of the machining process,UG software was used for simulation and machining,and the results showed that the machining process was programmed correctly,thereby generating a CNC turning program for the transmission shaft.
