Due to the large consumption of fossil fuels,it has caused environmental pollution,energy short-age and other problems.The appearance of new energy vehicles can address these issues.Therefore,this article focuses on the research of new energy vehicles,and analyzes the respective advantages and disadvantages of new energy vehicles and conventional fuel vehicles.It introduces the historical development stage of new energy vehi-cles,the main classifications,the problems still to be solved at the current stage and the future development trend.It is meaningful for our country to cope with climate change and promote the sustainable development of human society.
