With the deepening of energy crisis and the improvement of environmental protection awareness,the search for sustainable energy to replace traditional fuels has become the focus of global attention.As a kind of clean and renewable energy,methanol fuel has the advantages of high combustion efficiency and low emission,and is widely used in Marine internal combustion engine power system.By studying the characteristics of metha-nol fuel and its application in Marine internal combustion engine,this paper analyzes the prospect and challenge of methanol fuel in Marine industry.
