Experimental Research on Piston Selection for Non-road Diesels with Different Compression Ratios
The influence of pistion with different compression ratios on friction power, compression pressure, fuel economy and emission characteristics was researched for pistion selection in a non-road diesel that meets stage IV standard. The result show that the high compression ratio can increase the friction power and compres-sion pressure. As the compression ratio increases, there has a optimal brake specific fuel consumption under the rated speed and the torque speed, especially obvious at the rated speed. There has low NOx emissions for high compression ratio, while keep obvious increase for smoke emissions with the increasing load.
