Analysis of the Impact of Environmental Temperature on the Rationality Fault of DOC Pre-Temperature
A heavy-duty diesel vehicle meeting the China VI emission standards was selected to conduct a practical on-road validation of the Diesel Oxidation Catalyst(DOC)pre-temperature rationality fault detection under high-temperature,ambient temperature, and low-temperature conditions. The results indicated that the DOC pre-temperature rationality fault could meet the monitoring criteria in different environmental tempera-tures,accurately report faults without false alarms, and comply with development and regulatory requirements. The fault detection time for high-temperature environment was 240s,while for ambient temperature and low-temperature environments,it was 300s.The DOC pre-temperatur rationality fault detection conditions were con-sistent across different environmental scenarios, with engine speed ranging from 1400 to 2000 rpm and vehicle speed between 60 and 80 km/h.These test results provide a basis for the rationality fault detection method of post-treatment systems in future regulations, reducing the detection time in actual road conditions.
