Bogie K4 Frame Conversion are widely used in railway freight cars and large road maintenance ma-chinery,with the development of national railway,the use of the bogies is increasing,while facing the return to the factory repair of the K4 bogies also become more and more,so the detailed maintenance process of the bogies parts research becomes more important,This paper discusses the key points of overhaul and inspection tech-niques for the conversion of Bogie K4 frame side frame and rocking head,including surface rust removal,crack and defect repair,welding points,critical dimension measurements,the use of the inside and painting,etc.,the overhaul content is detailed,specific,maneuverability is strong,and the similar bogie side frame and rocking Head back to the factory repair has a general guiding significance.
