Research on Composite Material Cutting Characteristics of Turbocharger Housing
The composite materials of turbocharger casings present unique challenges in machining due to their structure and properties.This study delves into the functions and applications of turbocharger casings and the significance of material selection.It elaborates on the fundamental properties of composite materials,espe-cially their applications and mechanical properties in turbocharger casings.Challenges encountered during the machining process,such as cutting forces,variations in angles,and tool wear,are further analyzed.A series of optimization strategies are proposed,encompassing tool selection,cutting angle parameters,and cooling and lu-brication strategies.These strategies aim to enhance cutting efficiency,ensure the quality of the workpiece,and extend tool life.
