Research on Common Fault Causes and Preventive Measures of Cummins Diesel Engine
The production raw material for Cummins diesel engines is alloy cast iron,and the wet cylinder lin-er can be replaced as an engine block.The failure rate of Cummins diesel engines is higher than that of other brands of similar engines.Therefore,in order to improve the social application value of Cummins diesel engines,many experts and scholars have conducted research on them,summarizing the common faults of Cummins diesel engines and the causes of the faults,and proposing effective preventive measures for them.The research results indicate that the common faults of Cummins diesel engines are mainly caused by the environment,exhaust pipes,and engine,with the engine causing the most faults.Corresponding preventive measures have been proposed for the environment,exhaust pipes,and engine.At the same time,through a more detailed introduction,the scien-tific and innovative nature of this study has been increased.
