Analysis of Forced Air Cooling and Heat Dissipation in Carbon Fiber Composite Battery Boxes
Due to the poor heat dissipation performance of carbon fiber battery boxes,a design was carried out for the internal heat dissipation system of the battery box, including the arrangement of battery modules and the arrangement of fans inside the box.Build battery box and battery module models and import them into COM-SOL to establish an electric thermal coupling model for lithium iron phosphate batteries.By using five different fan arrangements, different air circulation is formed inside the sealed battery box.The simulation results show that the fan layout with dual fans blowing in the-X direction has the best effect on the heat dissipation of the battery module. The maximum temperature of the battery module is 40.5℃,and compared with the situation without a fan,the maximum temperature is reduced by 9.4℃.The design of the heat dissipation system for sealed carbon fiber battery boxes has reference significance.
