Discussion on Shot Peening Strengthening Technology for Large Shaft/Gear Ring Steel Parts
This article studies the shot peening process of shaft and gear ring parts of different sizes and shapes based on the appearance characteristics of large shaft/gear ring steel parts.Firstly,based on the type of parts studied,the strengthening indicators for internal stress and fatigue service life are determined by indirectly measuring parameters such as shot peening strength and coverage.By controlling the type of shot,gun diameter,spray pressure,spray distance,and flow rate of shot The strengthening parameters such as strengthening time,gun movement speed,and workpiece rotation speed were used for shot peening strengthening of the above-mentioned parts.After comparing experimental data with theoretical data,the testing parameters were optimized.After actual production inspection,this process method fully meets the strengthening requirements of the workpiece.
