A Process Improvement Method for Replacing Grinding with Boring and Milling Composite Processing
Grinding,as an effective means of conventional precision machining, can greatly improve the sur-face roughness and wear resistance of workpieces, thereby improving the machining accuracy of parts. However,in grinding, some parts have problems such as extremely long processing time and complex processing proce-dures,which can have a low qualified delivery rate and slow production efficiency in actual production.There-fore,in response to such problems,by using machining tools for high hardness carburized product components and strengthening the tools with reasonable coatings,it is possible to replace traditional grinding methods and tool applications with high-speed boring and milling, overcome the drawbacks brought by grinding, and improve the processing accuracy and efficiency of the product while ensuring product quality,Eliminated problems such as high-temperature deformation caused by grinding, and improved the consistency of finished component dimen-sions.
