TCO Analysis of Heavy Concrete Mixer Under Trend of Power Diversification
The purpose of this paper is to explore the difference of TCO in the cost recovery period of heavy concrete mixer trucks with different power systems,identify the most economical power system,and provide ref-erence for the concrete mixer truck manufacturers and operators to formulate enterprise strategies.This paper focuses on the TCO changes caused by the energy consumption cost in the use stage during thecost recovery peri-od,compares the difference between actual energy consumption and WHTC energy consumption in detail,calcu-lates the correction coefficient,and predicts the future energy consumption reduction,so as to obtain the per-formance of diesel engine power,natural gas engine power and pure electric concrete mixer in the TCO from 2023 to 2030.Although diesel engine power is relatively low in acquisition costs,its high fuel consumption increases long-term costs.Natural gas engines have moderate power acquisition costs,lower fuel costs,and more environ-mentally friendly emissions,making long-term costs better.Pure electric power has the advantages of zero emis-sions and low energy costs,but the acquisition cost is high,resulting in the increase of its TCO.Finally,by comparing the calculation results of TCO model,this paper puts forward some suggestions on the choice of pow-er system of heavy-duty concrete mixer in the future.The results of this study haveimportant reference value for manufacturers and operators of heavy-duty concrete mixer trucks.
