Lightweight Design of New Energy Vehicle Wheel Based on Inspire
The lightweight design of new energy vehicles aims to reduce the overall weight of the vehicle,improve the energy utilization efficiency of new energy vehicles,and increase the driving range,which is an important way to achieve its long-term development.In this paper,Solidworks is used to establish a new energy vehicle hub model.Based on the analysis of its actual stress,the Altair inspire software was employed to perform lightweight design with maximum stiff-ness as the goal.The displacement,safety factor and Mises equivalent stress values of three different design schemes are obtained.After comparing and analyzing the advantages and disadvantages,the optimal design scheme is selected.The results of optimization analysis show that the hub mass is 7.409kg,which is reduced by 10.2%compared with before op-timization.Under the premise of meeting the requirements of wheel hub strength and safety,the lightweight of wheel hub is realized,which provides a reference for the subsequent optimization design.
