Study on Supervision Methods for On-road NOx Emissions of Heavy Vehicles
NOx emissions have always been a key focus of heavy vehicle pollutant regulation in various coun-tries.Firstly,This paper compares the NOx emission regulations for heavy-duty vehicles issued by the European Union,California, and Chinese,Then focusing on the development and validation of the 17 Bin algorithm for"NOx Emission Tracking Requirements",Select two vehicles for actual road PEMS testing. The test results showed that:the relative error between the 17Bin algorithm NOx emission test results and PEMS equipment NOx emis-sion measurement results of the two sample vehicles is less than 5%.Therefore,the 17Bin algorithm can be used to record and supervise the actual vehicle NOx emissions.By comparing and analyzing the NOx emissions of Bins with relatively more operating points, the 17Bin algorithm can be used to study the emissions of different Bins.
