Noise Verification of Noise Reduction Parts for A V-type Engine
This study focuses on optimizing the structural materials of the front cover and left cylinder cover of a spe-cific V-type engine to reduce vibration noise. The optimized sound source analysis results show that the vibration ampli-tude of the front cover plate decreases in the frequency range of 2200 Hz-2800 Hz,the resonance at 2450 Hz disappears, and the noise is significantly reduced. The peak frequency of the sound source increases from 1200 Hz to 1340 Hz,and the vibration peak slightly increases. The vibration amplitude of the left cylinder cover also decreases in the same frequency range, the resonance at 2450 Hz disappears, and the noise is significantly reduced;the small peak at 1650 Hz in the front disappears, and the noise in the range of 1400Hz-2000Hz decreases. At idle speed, the noise in the left side frequency range of 2000Hz-4000Hz decreases;at the calibration point, the noise in the frequency range of 2300Hz-3500Hz decreases.
