Aiming at the problem of oil injection in the cylinder head indicator valve of a diesel engine in a domestic nuclear power plant before the daily test,the possible failure of lubricating oil into the combustion chamber of a diesel en-gine was analyzed from the aspects of piston ring,crankcase,cylinder head parts,turbocharger,etc.,and it was con-firmed that the seal between the valve rod of the diesel cylinder head and the valve guide had suitability design defects.In view of this problem,the treatment methods and preventive measures are put forward to effectively solve the lubricating oil injection problem of the cylinder head indicator valve of this model diesel engine.
