The paper focuses on addressing the issue of insufficient braking force in Baja racing cars by exami-ning and proposing a new design scheme for the brake control mechanism.The research involves analyzing driv-ing characteristics and braking requirements,developing a two-stage lever brake operating mechanism,conduc-ting computer simulations and optimization analysis,finite element analysis,dynamic simulations,as well as track tests to verify the effectiveness of the designed control mechanism in improving Baja car braking performance.
