As an important automotive manufacturing base in China,Hubei Province is accelerating the con-struction and development of its trillion-yuan automotive industry.The establishment of automotive industry in-stitutes has built a bridge for the deep integration of vocational education and the automotive industry.In the fu-ture,these institutes must continue to leverage their strengths to further advance industry-education integration and cultivate multidisciplinary talents who will drive the growth of the automotive industry.This paper analyzes the current state of Hubei's automotive industry,explores the essence and significance of establishing automotive industry institutes,highlights the changes in their development,and proposes pathways for building these insti-tutes within vocational colleges.The goal is to contribute to Hubei's automotive industry development by nurtur-ing automotive professionals who are both skilled and innovative.
