Belgian Road Simulation of an Automobile Considering a Flexible Front Subframe
The rigid subframe cannot fully reflect the impact of its own elastic deformation on the movement of the car.Hypermesh was used to flex the front subframe and generate a rigid-flex coupling vehicle model. The linear simulation of the vehicle model was carried out using the Belgian road spectrum, and the lateral, lateral and vertical accelerations at the centroid of the rigid-flexible coupling vehicle were obtained, and compared with the simulation data of the vehicle equipped with a rigid front subframe. The results show that the acceleration at the center of mass of the rigid-flexible coupling vehicle is smaller, which can reflect the influence of the elastic deformation of the frame of the flexible front sub-vehicle on the motion of the vehicle to a greater extent.
