During the maintenance of a certain type of engine,it was found that the local surface of TC6 titani-um alloy fan blades had the characteristics of clustered white spotty anomalies.The blades were disassembled for physical and chemical inspection including macro,micro,metallographic,energy spectrum,etc.The white spotty anomalies were reproduced.The results show that the white spot anomaly is the attachment formed by the sub-strate splashing when polishing the blade.Through the analysis of the attachments on the surface of titanium al-loy blade and the repair of the faulty blade,it provides a reference for the analysis and treatment of the abnormal situation of the improvement of the blade surface quality.
