This paper presents the background,main technical contents,assessment method,classification categories,assessment index system and main characteristics of T/CALAS 100-2021 Laboratory animal-Assessment standard for green laboratory animal facility.With the goal of improving the evaluation standard system of green building,promoting the green development of experimental animal facilities,saving resources and protecting the environment,the standard restricts and guides the comprehensive evaluation of the five performances of experimental animal facilities in the whole life cycle.
