PUE analysis for water side natural cooling in data centers of China
Water side natural cooling is the most traditional energy-saving technology in the field of data centers,which has been widely used in China.In this paper,the typical design parameters of water side natural cooling system in data centers are modeled and calculated,and the value of power usage effectiveness(PUE)in data centers of meteorological stations in China is obtained.Through the method of spatial interpolation,the PUE map of water side natural cooling system in each region of China is obtained,and the PUE value of water side natural cooling system in data centers in each region of China can be intuitively seen from the map.It can provide references for the data center location and PUE policy formulation in various regions of China.
