On the Impact of Digital Government on High-Quality FDI in the Yangtze River Delta
In the context of digital revolution,digital government has become an important growth pole for high-qual-ity utilization of foreign investment.Based on the perspective of FDI quality,combined with the e-government data pro-vided by the Guomai E-Government Network,the impact of digital government on the high-quality utilization of FDI in the Yangtze River Delta is examined from both theoretical and empirical perspectives.The study shows that digital govern-ment significantly promotes the utilization of FDI in the Yangtze River Delta(YRD)by means of reducing transaction costs,boosting innovation capacity and upgrading industrial structure;the effect of digital government on the utilization of FDI in the YRD varies with the scale of tax revenue,the construction of smart cities and the degree of openness;further analysis shows that digital government is conducive to promoting the utilization quality in stability of FDI in the YRD.These findings are important for the Yangtze River Delta to promote government digitization and achieve high-quality eco-nomic development.
