Clinical effect of pelvic floor muscle rehabilitation training combined with biofeedback therapy on female pelvic floor dysfunction
Objective:To explore the clinical efficacy of pelvic floor muscle rehabilitation combined with biofeedback therapy in treating female pelvic floor dysfunction(PFD).Methods:Ninety-eight patients with PFD were selected from Affiliated Nantong Hospital 3 of Nantong University from October 2020 to October 2022.They were divided into observation group(49 cases)and control group(49 cases)by using block random method. The control group received pelvic floor muscle rehabilitation training, and the observation group combined biofeedback therapy on this basis. The clinical efficacy, pelvic floor muscle strength, pelvic floor function and quality of life 3 months after treatment were compared between the two groups. Results:The clinical effect of the observation group was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).The fibromuscular voltage of class Ⅰ and Ⅱ pelvic floor muscles in both groups after treatment was higher than that before treatment(P<0.05).The fibromuscular voltage of class Ⅰ and Ⅱ pelvic floor muscles in the observation group was higher than those in the control group after treatment(P<0.05).The scores of pelvic floor distress inventory-short form-20(PFDI-20)and pelvic floor impact questionnaire-7(PFIQ-7)after treatment were lower than those before treatment(P<0.05).PFDI-20 scores and PFIQ-7 scores in the observation group were lower than those in the control group after treatment(P<0.05).The scores of quality of live such as physiological function,role-physical,general health, social function and energy in the observation group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Pelvic floor muscle rehabilitation combined with biofeedback therapy is effective in the treatment of female PFD,which can significantly improve the pelvic floor muscle strength and function, and improve the quality of life.
