Study on the effects of femoston and tibolone on blood glucose, blood lipid and adverse reactions in patients with menopausal syndrome
Objective:To investigate the effect of femoston and tibolone in the treatment of menopausal syndrome and the effect on blood glucose, blood lipid and adverse reactions. Methods:From January 2023 to March 2024,a total of 60 female patients who were treated in the gynecological outpatient Department of Qidong People's Hospital due to menopausal syn-drome were randomly divided into the femoston group(treated with oral femoston),and the tibolone group(treated with oral tibolone),30 cases each group. The blood glucose, blood lipids,BMI,blood pressure, symptom improvement scale and adverse reactions were compared between groups, and the application value, influence on blood glucose and blood lipids and adverse reactions of the two drugs were analyzed. Results:The levels of fasting blood glucose(FPG)and glycosylated hemoglobin(HbAlc)after treatment in the two groups were lower than before treatment(P<0.05).After treatment, patients'BMI and SBP,DBP levels were better than before treatment(P<0.05),but there was no significant difference between groups(P>0.05).After treatment, the levels of lipid index cholesterol, triglyceride, low density lipoprotein and high density lipoprotein in the two groups were better than those before treatment(all P<0.05),but there was no significant difference between groups(P>0.05).Kupperman scores at 1,3 and 6 months after treatment were lower than those before treatment(P<0.05),and there was no significant difference between groups(P>0.05).There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the control group and the observation group(P>0.05).Conclusion:Both femoston and tibolone can significantly improve the clinical symptoms of patients with menopausal syndrome, and can also improve the glycemic and lipid metabolism indexes of patients, and can achieve ideal therapeutic effect, and have high safety.
