Research progress of mesenchymal stem cells in the treatment of autoimmune diseases
Autoimmune diseases(AIDs)are a series of chronic diseases with complex pathogenesis.The imbalance of immune homeostasis is closely related to its occurrence and development.Mesenchymal stem cells(MSCs)are a kind of multifunctional stem cells,which have the ability to self-renew and differentiate into various cell types,play an important role in immune modulation and tissue damage repair.In recent years,MSCs have received extensive attention in the treatment of AIDs.This article reviews the recent advances of MSCs in the treatment of AIDs.
