In this study,we take 3 years old, 5 years old, 7 years old, 10 years old wine grapes‘Gernischt’(Caberbet Gernischt) as materials to study the effect of different ages on photosynthetic characteristics and fruit quality. The results showed: different age has a significant influence on photosynthesis and fruit quality. 3-year-old chlorophyll content is lowest. 10-year-old grape leaf has highest Pn and Gs, 3-year-old is minimum. About tannins, phenols and total titratable acid content, 3-year-old is highest and 10-year-old lowest. Soluble solids content of up to 10 years old, minimum of 3 years old.
