Effect of Pre-harvest Foliar Fertilization on Storability of Dragon Fruit
The effect of pre-harvest foliar application of different concentrations of potassium dihydrogen phosphate fertilizer on the quality and appearance of dragon fruit was studied using dragon fruit as the experimental material. The results showed that foliar application of potassium dihydrogen phosphate fertilizer increased the content of reducing sugar, titratable acid, and betaine in the fruit, delayed the decrease in hardness and soluble solid content during fruit storage, and reduced the rate of fruit decay during storage.Among them, the treatment with 0.016 mol/L of potassium dihydrogen phosphate effectively delayed the decrease in vitamin C,protein, and betaine content in dragon fruit, reduced the rate of fruit decay during storage, and maintained good fruit quality.Therefore,pre-harvest spraying of 0.016 mol/L potassium dihydrogen phosphate is more beneficial for the storage of dragon fruit.
