Investigation of Chinese Rose Black Spot Disease and Preliminary Screening of Disease-resistant Varieties
Black spot disease in Rosa chinensis is a globally recognized disease that severely restricts the cultivation and development of Rosa chinensis.In order to understand the differences in disease resistance among different Rosa chinensis varieties and to screen out varieties resistant to black spot disease,this study conducted a field survey on the incidence of black spot disease on 400 open-field cultivated rose varieties in Rose Germplasm Resource Park of Southland Hills,Kunming.As a result,210 varieties were identified as highly susceptible to black spot disease,39 varieties were classified as susceptible,55 varieties showed moderate resistance,31 varieties exhibited high resistance,and 65 varieties were found to be immune to black spot disease.
