Effects of Different Improvement Measures on Photosynthetic Characteristics,Yield and Quality of Lycium barbarum in Saline-alkali Land
To investigate the effects of various improvement measures on the growth and development of Lycium barbarum in saline-alkali soil, with L.barbarum'Ningqi No.1'was used as the test material.A Latin square design was employed to evaluate five improvement measures:desulfurized gypsum, amendment+organic fertilizer, drainage and irrigation, desulfurized gypsum+drainage and irrigation, and desulfurized gypsum+organic fertilizer+amendment+drainage and irrigation, with no improvement measures as the control. The changes in physiological indices, active component content, and yield of L.barbarum under different improvement measures were analyzed, and principal component analysis on the two-year measurement results was conducted. The results showed that all improvement techniques reduced soil pH value and alkalinity, and increased the flavonoid content in L.barbarum.The two treatments involving organic fertilizer significantly enhanced fruit yield.Desulfurized gypsum combined with drainage and irrigation promoted polysaccharide accumulation in the fruits.Principal component analysis showed that, compared to the control group, the treatment with desulfurized gypsum+organic fertilizer+amendment+drainage and irrigation increased photosynthetic performance by 23.3%,fruit yield by 32.57%,and fruit flavonoid content by 41.5%.Therefore,the integrated use of desulfurized gypsum, organic fertilizer, and amendments can significantly promote the growth, development, and accumulation of effective components in L.barbarum grown in saline-alkali soil.
