Analysis of the Vulnerability of Xinjiang's Aksu Prefecture Agricultural Ecosystem and Its Driving Factors
This study investigates the vulnerability and driving factors of the Xinjiang's Aksu Prefecture agricultural ecosystem to provide reference for the sustainable development of agriculture in Aksu.Using 9 counties in Aksu as research objects, this study selected 20 indicators to construct an agricultural ecosystem vulnerability evaluation index system based on stress, sensitivity, and resilience. The entropy weight method was used to determine the weight of each indicator, and the comprehensive index method was used to calculate and classify the ecological vulnerability of each county.Principal component analysis was employed to identify the main driving factors of agricultural ecosystem vulnerability in this region. The results showed that:① The weight of pressure is 36.25%,sensitivity is 38%,and resilience is 25.75%.② The vulnerability of the agricultural ecosystem in Aksu varies, with high and moderate vulnerability being predominant, and slight vulnerability being supplementary. There is one extremely vulnerable county, three highly vulnerable counties, two moderately vulnerable counties, and three slightly vulnerable counties, accounting for 11%,41.7%,14.4%,and 32.8%of the total area of the region,respectively.③ The main driving factors of agricultural ecosystem vulnerability in Aksu are agricultural production conditions, climate conditions, agricultural economic conditions, agricultural mechanization level, extreme weather, and forest cover, with agricultural production conditions being the primary driving factor. Therefore, the focus for reducing the vulnerability of the Aksu agricultural ecosystem should be on improving agricultural production conditions in moderately and highly vulnerable areas and reducing the sensitivity of the agricultural ecosystem.
