Effects of Different LED Light Intensities in a Plant Factory on Melon Plant Growth
In order to study the effect of light intensity regulation on the growth of melon plants,the melon variety M147 was used as the research subject.Six light intensities were set up in the plant factory:T1(300 μmol·m-2·s-1),T2(420 μmol·m-2·s-1),T3(480 μmol·m-2·s-1),T4(540 μmol·m-2·s-1),T5(600 μmol·m-2·s-1),and CK(360 μmol·m-2·s-1).Plant height,node spacing,stem thickness,number of nodes,chlorophy Ⅱ content,and chlorophy Ⅱ fluorescence parameters were measured.The affiliation function method was used for a comprehensive evaluation of the light intensity treatments,identifying the most suitable light intensity for melon plant growth in the plant factory.Results showed that different light intensities significantly affect the growth of melon plants in plant factories.
