Several Critical Issues Should Be Noticed in Current Advancing Rural Revitalization
Rural revitalization strategy proposed by the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China is a natural demand and choice as China has finished building a moderately prosperous society in all respects and entered a new phase in economic and social development.The paper explores the implications of rural vitalization from three perspectives:to resolve the principal contradiction facing Chinese society,to advance national modernization through building up China's strength in agriculture and to support the unique function of the rural getting stronger.The paper points out that three critical issues in current advancing rural revitalization should be noticed.Building up an agricultural power based on double-layer management system is one of the Chinese characteristics.Rural industrial devel-opment should take agriculture as the basis and promote integrated development of industries.The coun-ties shall play as the starting point in advancing integrated urban-rural development.
