Research on the Evaluation Index System and Effect of Financial Services for Rural Revitalization:A Case Study of the Yangtze River Delta Region
Promoting rural revitalization in an all-round way is the general grasp of realizing agri-cultural and rural modernization,and the rural revitalization of the Yangtze River Delta is based on the context that Yangtze River Delta regional integration has risen to a national strategy,carrying the func-tion of providing demonstration and guidance for national rural revitalization.In this context,the paper takes the five major goals of rural revitalization as the first-level indicators,and financial services as the second-level and third-level indicators to compile a financial service index of rural revitalization in the Yangtze River Delta from 2015 to 2021.The results show that the total index of rural revitalization finan-cial services has risen steadily since 2015,especially after 2018,which proves the fact that the intensity of financial services"agriculture,rural areas and farmers"has increased after the rural revitalization strategy is put forward.However,at the same time,the indexes of the five major goals show a trend of differentiation in the process of rising,and regional differences and regional characteristics are obvi-ous.The effect analysis shows that the higher the level of rural revitalization financial services is in a re-gion,the smaller the urban-rural income gap is.At the same time,financial institutions have long fo-cused on providing financial services for the prosperity of rural industries,but have allocated financial resources to each goal in a more balanced manner when promoting the other four major goals of rural re-vitalization.Therefore,in order to further enhance the level of rural revitalization of financial services,it is still necessary to continuously strengthen policies,innovate business models of financial institutions and empower rural endogenous power to enhance financial service capabilities.
