New Quality Productivity in Agricultural Sector as the Future of Innovation and Sustainable Development:A Summary of the Academic Forum on New Quality Productivity in Agricultural Sector at Northwest A&F University
New quality productivity in agricultural sector are a key lever for achieving the moderni-zation of agriculture and rural areas in the Chinese path to modernization and building up China's strength in agriculture.Understanding and grasping the essence of new drivers of new quality productivity in agricultural sector and promoting the development of these new quality productivities are significant for advancing the high-quality construction of agricultural economy and revitalizing the vital-ity of agricultural development.From April 19 to 20,2024,Northwest A&F University held a university-wide Party member class for faculty and students,along with a special report meeting on future agricul-ture and new quality productivity in agricultural sector.On the 88th anniversary of its College of Eco-nomics & Management,the"Academic Forum on New Quality Productivity in Agricultural Sector"was held,attended by leaders and scholars from Fudan University,Renmin University of China,Zhejiang U-niversity,Huazhong Agricultural University,Peking University,and Northwest A&F University.Guided by Xi Jinping's important discourse on developing new quality productivity in Agricultural Sector,the forum engaged in in-depth discussions on topics such as"Understanding New Quality Productivity and Cultivating New Quality Productivity in Agricultural Sector,""Recognizing and Understanding the Con-notation of New Quality Productivtiy in Agricultural Sector,"and"The Practical Pathways and Signifi-cance of Developing New Quality Productivity."Experts and scholars from different perspectives con-ducted analyses and explorations,resulting in a series of valuable,profound,and constructive views and outcomes.
