The migrant service center was a provisional institution set in the Shandong liberated area during the period of China's War of Liberation,with serving migrant workers as the main task,the preparation,preservation and distribution of grain as particularly important work.In the war context,the general shortage and fragility of grain contradicted the temporary and mo-bile nature of migrant service center,prompting it to adopt various means to ensure the quantity and quality of grain,and coordi-nate grain allocation rationally.The complex pattern of grain work in migrant was the actual embodiment of the contradiction be-tween the supply and demand of resources in the front and back line during the war.The better grain services were greatly signif-icant to encourage migrant workers to actively support the front.
