After the natural disasters in the Shaanxi-Gansu-Ningxia border region,the Communist Party of China actively responded and took various relief measures to resettle the victims.Mainly through food and fund supply,prioritizing victims in recruitment,transferring victims to safe place,and providing additional compensation,the production and livelihood of disaster victims were secured.By reviewing the disaster relief of the Communist Party of China,some meaningful experiences and inspi-rations can be concluded.On the basis of material supplies,psychological and spiritual care should not be neglected;Food and fund supply should be distributed fairly and made fully use of;A joint disaster relief mechanism with other departments should be established and all social forces need be mobilized to participate in the resettlement of disaster victims;Marxist perspectives and methods are to be adopted to guide the resettlement work of disaster victims.
