Since the late Qing Dynasty,driven by international market demand and its own development advantages,the trade of Yihong tea emerged,and the regional tea industry gradually flourished,leading to the formation of the"Yihong tea"brand.During the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression,under the influence of the international and domestic situa-tion and the"Chinese Tea Industry Revival Plan",the"Yihong Tea Revival Plan"was proposed.The China Tea Company and the Tea Department of Hubei Provincial Department of Priced Commodity Supply successively invested in setting up factories in the Yihong tea planting area,promoting the establishment of regional state-run tea factories and the development of the state-run system,reflecting the survival situation and choices of regional traditional commodity economy in the trend of mod-ern globalization,and laying the historical pattern of regional tea industry's socioeconomic development.
