During the all-out War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression,in order to ensure the smooth progress of a-gricultural production,the Taihang and Taiyue resistance bases actively responded to the call of the Party Central Committee to"organize"and launched a campaign of mutual aid and cooperation.On the basis of learning from the traditional forms of mutual assistance among the farmers,the Communist Party of China(CPC)gradually organized the scattered farmers by means of volun-tary union,equivalent exchange,exemplary guidance,and combination of labor and armed forces.Practice proved that organiz-ing masses for mutual assistance and cooperation showed remarkable results in overcoming the shortage of labor and animal power in the resistance bases,improving the efficiency of agricultural production,and enhancing the living standards of the masses.There is certain reference significance for the great practice of organizing farmers to invest in rural revitalization by summarizing the historical experience of the agricultural mutual aid and cooperation campaign in Taihang and Taiyue resistance bases.
