Emperor Huizong of the Song Dynasty,as a talented tea-loving emperor,played an important leading role in the development of tea culture in the Song Dynasty.In the social and cultural atmosphere of the Song Dynasty,which advocated ele-gance,he created many excellent tea calligraphy,poetry,and painting works,such as the tea book On the Grand View of Tea,the tea painting Wen Hui Tu,and many tea poems depicting tea activities.These works fully reflect the spirit of the tea ceremony of promoting purity and harmony,high rhyme and tranquility,and leisurely cleanness,reflecting the aesthetic taste and value pursuit of the Song people.It holds an important position in the history of tea culture and has had a profound impact on the de-velopment of tea culture.
